This workshop will explore a dual-credit, whole-school program where
students develop a 10-year Career and Education Plan.
You’ll learn about
Eastern Promise, one of Oregon's most successful college and career readiness programs, which was modeled on the
Get Focused...Stay Focused!® Initiative. Using standards developed through the
Freshman Transition Initiative of The George Washington University, Eastern Promise set out to build postsecondary-going culture and to increase access to affordable early college credit.

- How entering high school freshmen can develop a quantitative online 10-year career and education plan
- Strategies for using these plans throughout high school for advisory functions and academic coaching
