Expanding Discussions of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Career Planning

From Instructor to Career Mentor:
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Career Decision Making

A research study of 2,000 16- to 24-year-olds shows that 43% of students now believe they are not capable of achieving their career dreams and goals. Our 2-hour workshop for high school Get Focused Stay Focused (GFSF) educators provides tools and strategies to support teachers in increasing students’ beliefs in their capabilities, building on discussion opportunities that occur naturally in the Career Choices series curriculum. This professional development transitions your teachers from instructors of the career curriculum to career mentors and career advocates for their students.

*Pre-coursework is required for this workshop.
