A rigorous, academically-based, Student Success Course, built on GWU’s Standards for a Freshman Transition Course, culminates in the development of an online 10-year career and education plan. Students come to recognize what completing their education means to their future happiness and life satisfaction. Perhaps more important, they understand the consequences of dropping out. When every student has a meaningful and quantitative 10-year plan, you’ll experience intrinsically motivated students resulting in a dramatic increase in your completion rate.
